Cheap Books!
There have been more than 200 downloads of the free version of Natural Causes, and one five star review. All good things must come to an end sometime, though, and soon the price will go up to $2.99/£1.96 or thereabouts. For almost 120k words of finely crafted crimey/thrillery/paranormally goodness, that's not a lot. Less than a cup of coffee in most places these days, and it'll last a good deal longer.
Work on the next Inspector McLean novel, The Book of Souls, is coming along nicely, though perhaps not as fast as I'd like. It too was short-listed for the CWA Debut Dagger and is, in my humble opinion, even better than Natural Causes. Next up from DevilDog Publishing will be the first of the Ballad of Sir Benfro books, the whole reason for this blog in the first place.
In the meantime, keep on downloading Natural Causes, and please post (nice) reviews.
